All books are R20 (self service), but you are also encouraged to bring them back once you’ve finished with them so that they can sell them again: the gift that keeps on giving!
Please also bring any second hand books – just add them to the shelf in the restaurant. Or Elmie 0728330291 or Karen 0725211548 will also collect books from you in Darling.
The Darling Angels are a network of caring community members who are concerned with small acts of kindness that can make a difference. Anyone can be a Darling Angel by donating time, money, goods or services. Examples of the projects that the Darling Angels have been involved with, include:
♥ Renovation of the trauma room at the police station
♥ Small care bags for the trauma room
♥ Selling of clothes and goods once a month, very affordably so that all can benefit and to raise funds
♥ Supplying food parcels for the clinic
♥ Raising funds for the Early Childhood Development centre at the Darling Swimming Pool, by very successful art exhibition
♥ Cakes and muffins for teatime, to the sisters at the clinic and the police. to show appreciation for their service
♥ Collect household goods, furniture, paint etc for the new RDP houses
